le port de nagoya et autre aventures

Hop, fin mai, nous sommes en plein printemps à Nagoya. Il fait beau, chaud mais sans être trop humide, une température parfaite ! 27~32°C tous les jours en attendant la saison des pluies en juin (^_^)

Hop, end of May, right in the middle of spring here in Nagoya. The weather is great : not cold but not too hod, not so humid either! Everyday we got temperatures of 27~32°C, waiting for the rainy season to rock in in June (^_^)

ウース、5月の終わりだ。春の真ん中。天気的に一番いい季節：寒くないし暑くないし湿気もまだまだ大変過ぎない！毎日27～32度ぐらいで梅雨の待ち（＾＿＾）

Kana s'étant acheté un vélo il y a quelques temps, nous sommes aller nous promener au port de Nagoya en fin de semaine, à peine 30 minutes en vélo !

Kana havin' bought a bike just a few weeks ago we went to Nagoya Port last week-end, about an half-hour away from home only!

香菜はこの間自転車を買ってて先週末名古屋港へ行った、30分もかからないよ！

Et ouais à peine 30 minutes pour voir la mer pis faire le con devant des ptites statues de marin, c'est cool non ? (^_^)

Yep, only 30 minutes to see the sea and take cool pictures in front of small sailor statues, cool eh?

うん、30分だけで海も見えるし馬鹿な写真や事もいっぱい出来るし！凄いだろう？（＾＿＾）

Il y avait même des boîtes au lettres en pingouin !

Mais le top du top, la crème de la crème, c'est qu'on a des palmiers ! Et ça pour faire ambiance vacance, y a difficilement mieux ! Ouais euh et des hélices de bâteau gigantesques aussi, mais ça je suis moins sur.

But the top of the top, the cream of the crop : we've got palm trees! Hard to beat if you wanna feel like being off work! Yes and hmm we've got huge boat propellers as well, not sure 'bout that.

でも最高の最も最高なのは椰子の木があるなんて！休みっぽいんだったら椰子の木よりいいのはないでしょう！あ、で、あの…船のでか～いプロペラもあるけどそれはよく分からんが。

Ceci étant dit, petites nouvelles concernant mon boulot aussi. Mon boss Bree, l'américain avec qui je m'entendais bien si vous vous rappelez, a quitter la compagnie. Enfin, son dernier jour est cette semaine, dimanche. À l'annonce de sa démission, ma compagnie m'a proposé son poste. J'ai réfléchi un peu à ce que ça impliquait... Faire le training, faire les entrevues pour le nouveau personnel, diriger l'école dans une langue qui n'est pas la mienne et être le supérieur de gens qui parlent mieux que moi et qui sont plus âgés et bien souvent plus expériementés... Bref la barre était assez haute mais j'ai bien sur fini par accepter...

J'ai donc commencer le training en vue de devenir le "Senior Instructor" à L-One, position qui comencera officiellement le 1er juin. Après tout je ne suis pas aller à l'université, il faut bien que je compense quelque part et 23 ans est loin d'être trop jeune. Je vous donnerais des nouvelles sur ce que cela implique au jour le jour; disons que je vais être occupé !

That being said, news concerning my job as well. My boss, Bree, who was the american Iwas going along well with, quit the company. Well, technically, his last is this week on Sunday. When he gave his resignation to the company they offered me his job. I thought a lot about what it was implying... Do the training, the hiring, manage the teacher's side of the school in a language that isn't mine and just being the superior of people speaking far much better than and often having much more experience as well... useless to say it was a challenging choice to do but I ended up saying yes, of course...

So I started my training for becoming the "Senior Instructor" at L-One, title that will start being accurate on June 1st. Because I didn't go to university I guess I have to make up for it somewhere and 23 years old is far from being too young to start. I will give you news of what this "new job" implies in my everyday life from now on; I think I will be busy!

そしては仕事についてもニュースがあります。今までの上司のBreeさんは辞職した、今週の日曜日は彼の最後の日だ。それで本社は私にその地位はどう？との提案した。その仕事したら本当はどういう意味なのかをよく考えてた…トレーニングをしたり、雇うことも担当したり、一般的にあの学校のマネージメントもしたりする上に自分の母国語じゃない言語でネイティブスピーカーの上司として働く意味もあった…難しい選択だったけど勿論断る訳ないので受諾した。
「Senior Instructor」のトレーニングはそれから始まった。6月１日から本当に始まる。大学にも行ってない私にいい事だと思います。確かに２３歳って若過ぎるでもないと思う。それからまたその新しい仕事についてニュースを流そうと思ってます。忙しいはずなので、頑張ります!

Ou enfin du moins derrière ce bâtiment. Ce bâtiment la, en construction, est le centre des congrès international de Nagoya. Un gigantesque bâtiment très moderne, très beau je trouve, au bord de la rivière entouré d'un petit parc... Bon la c'est en travaux... Et il faisait pas très beau. Mais c'est un premier aperçu (^_^)

Or at least behind this building! This here building here is Nagoya's International Congres Center. A huge building, very modern, beautiful I think, surrounded by Shiratori Park and a river (whose name I don't know)... Now there's some work in progress there and it was kind of cloudy but anyway, that's a first shot (^_^)

こういう場所ってかその後ろね。あれは名古屋の国際会議所だ！凄い大きくてモダンで綺麗なビルだと思う。周りもきれいな白鳥公園も川もある。まぁ、あの日は確かに天気も悪かったし工事中だってあまり分からないけどね（＾＿＾）

Ici c'est déjà plus ou j'habite ! Et ouais dans un gros building genre cité banlieue parisienne, cool non ? Notre appart' est en haut, la ou on vois une couverture sur le balcon (^_^;)

That's more like where I live! Yep, in a Paris suburb-like huge building, cool eh? Our appart is up there, where the blanket is (^_^;)

あ、あれは住んでるビルやね！なんかパリの郊外の大きいビルみたい、凄いでしょう？うちらのアパートは上の方。。。ほら、布団が出てるベランダのとこ（＾＿＾；）

De l'autre coté, toujours à moins de 5 minutes de marche de chez moi, on une ligne de métro extérieur ainsi qu'un huge centre commercial genre Place Laurier à Québec. Pratique pratique.

On the other side, still in a five minute walk circle around my plce we got an outside metro line as well as a huge shopping mall, AEON. Quite convenient.

逆方面に行って5分間程歩くと外の鉄道とでかいイーオンがある。便利便利★

Finalement en allant un peu au Sud il y a l'institut universitaire de Nagoya, Nagoya Gakuin Daigaku, et un joli petit parc dans lequel Kana et moi sommes allé faire un petit picnic. Ça a pas été facile de régler l'appareil photo pour la capture automatique et j'avais pas remarqué que les deux flots derrière nous posaient aussi (^_^)

Finaly, a little bit further South we got the Nagoya Gakuin Daigaku (Nagoya University Institute) and a cute lil' park where Kana and me went for a picnic. The self-timer was hell to set up and I hadn't realized the kids behind us were posing as well (^_^;)

最後に、もうちょっと南の方に行くと名古屋学院大学と公園もある！あそこでこの間香菜と一緒にちょっとしたピックニックをしに行った。セルフタイマーの設定してたら後ろの子達もポーズしてたって気づかなかった（＾＿＾；）

enfin... enfin !!!

Bon, enfin !!! Après un ?%$!# de mois d'attente nous avons Internet ! Ça a pas été facile... J'ai failli commettre une bonne demi-douzaine de meurtre mais bon j'organisait un peu le nouvel appart' et ça a fini par rentrer dans l'ordre... En plus le mois fut bien chargé ! J'ai ouvert mon blog avec un gros soupir... Ça va être un bon 8 heures de travail non-stop de le mettre à jour... Je déteste la planète Terre sans Internet je crois... Mais comment faisiez-vous dans les 90s' everyone !? J'espère que d'ici à mon prochain déménagement les gens de la planète auront un peu évoluer vis-à-vis du temps que ça prends pour installer Internet... Enfin. Voici quelques photos de mon appartement, juste un premier petit aperçu pour accompagner ces deux petits articles rapides.


At last!!! After a freakin' month we finaly have Internet! It was hard... I think I almost commited a half-dozen murders but at least I could organize our new life here in Hibino I guess... The worst part is that this month has been a very heavy month on news! I opened my blog today with a sigh... It'll be a huge 8 hours or more to put everything up to date. I think I hate planet Earth without Internet. What were people doing in the 90s'!? I hope humanity will evolve a little bit until my next moving... Anyway, here are a couple of pics of our new appartement to go with the articles.


やっと！一ヶ月間もかかっちゃったけどインターネットがやっと繋がってきた。待ってる間に日比野の新しい生活に段々慣れてきたかな。今日はブログ空けたら溜息…アップデートするのは長そう。ネットがない地球大嫌いかも。90年代の時皆何やってたの！？まぁ、取り合えず、新しいアパートのちょっとした写真と記事2つを書いてみた。

Petites ballades et autre barbecues

Cette première photo et la suivante ont été prises près de la gare de Nagoya, dans un petit parc qui s'appele Noritake no Mori. On y était allé avec Naoyuki pour visiter le musée de Toyota, sur le site historique de la première usine de textile, avant la guerre, qui à l'époque s'appelait Toyoda. C'était très interessant et nous sommes ensuite aller manger ensemble ! C'était fin avril.


That first photo and the next one have been taken near Nagoya Station in a small park called Noritake no Mori. We had been there with Naoyuki to visit Toyota's Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology on the historic site of Toyota's first textile factory, before the war and when the company was still called Toyoda. I was very interesting and we then went on to eat together ! It was the end of April.


上の写真とその次は二枚とも名駅に近くあるノリタケの森と言う公園で撮った。直之とトヨタ自動車の最初の工場の用地にある博物館の産業技術記念館を訪れに行った。あの時、トヨタはまだ繊維工業の会社だってトヨダと呼ばれてた。とても面白かった！その後は一緒に食べに行った。4月の終わりだった。

5月の頭、日本の家族と一緒に豊田でバーベキューを用意した！
